Enrolled Community Nursing School
EMBU, KENYA

Triad designed this school as part of a DANIDA funded health project. The school is residential, with students accommodated in shared rooms. The facilities on site include a kitchen and dining rooms and teaching facilities.

The difficult site involved a series of terraces and complex retaining walls and level changes. The project was constructed in locally available materials, principally clay
products, to minimise maintenance costs.
