Ministry of Finance KIGALI, RWANDA 
Triad Architects won an international competition for the rehabilitation and extension of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning Building in Kigali in 2003. The project consists of the design of a new 6-storey building next to the existing 5-storey building housing the Ministry of Finance.The building comprises one basement car parking, storage and services and six upper floors for modern offices. The building was designed as a result of a design that balances the need for a modern image and a response to the client’s needs and limitations. The elevations were designed with a combination of glass curtain walling and modern finishing on rendered walls. We believe this approach will give the building a fresh look in line with the new Rwanda. |
