BPST - Peace Support Training College
NAIROBI, KENYA

Triad has designed several projects for the British Army in its support for the Peace Support Training College at Karen. The college is being developed as part of a general initiative of G8 donor countries to increase the peace keeping capacity of East African states.

Initially Triad designed a 50-seat lecture room and syndicated rooms, and are currently undertaking the design of further teaching facilities funded by GTZ (German Aid). During 2003/2004 Triad designed and managed the construction and equipping of a 50-roomed hostel block.

The 50 self-contained rooms include a shower room and were delivered fully furnished and fitted out. The hostel block contains a laundry and housekeeping facilities and a lounge and bar.

In a continuing involvement in the PSTC and Defence Staff College programme, Triad have designed and managed the construction of the DSC headquarters, the new library and further selfcontained accommodation units for expansion of the peace training course at the Defence Staff College. All the projects have been delivered against a tight programme and on budget.
