Nairobi Hospice
NAIROBI, KENYA

Triad prepared a competition design for the development of a new building for the Nairobi
Hospice using ArchiCAD (a three-dimensional architectural design package). The scheme consists of administration offices, clinical areas, a day centre, training facilities, libraries and a chapel.

The organic form of the project was dictated by the need for a building which was intimate and reached
out to the user by employing single storey buildings surrounding courtyards. A priority in the design of the scheme was to create a caring environment that was welcoming and peaceful.
